The national Women’s Ministries project this year aims to raise $150,000 to offer Bible-based literacy tools and Quechua Bibles to women in very remote villages of the Andes Mountains and the jungles of Peru.
The reasons:
- Women gaining access to literacy and the Gospel are teaching more women, their families, and their communities, sharing the Good News of Jesus Christ!
- Quechua continues to be the “heart” language of the indigenous people of the Andes.
- Quechua women are the most affected by illiteracy. In the mountain churches, often over 80% of the women do not know how to read or write in their own language.
How to get involved: Give now or host an event using the resources on cmacan.org to offer access not only to literacy but also to the life-transforming Word of God.
